Meet Sarah

Naturopath (BHSc), Nutritionist (BHSc), 'The Flora Naturopath' founder. Practicing 8+ years.

Having grown up in Boonah and now calling Harrisville home, I’ve always had a strong connection to the Scenic Rim and its community. My journey into naturopathy began with a curiosity about why the body develops symptoms in the first place. I’ve always been fascinated by the way our health tells a story, and over the years, I’ve found myself particularly drawn to the gut and the incredible influence it can have on the rest of the body.

For me, digestive health isn't simply about fixing bloating, constipation or reflux. The gut can be a window into what is happening throughout the body, from the immune system and hormones to the skin and even our mental and emotional wellbeing.

I take a root-cause, whole-person approach, using functional testing where appropriate to look more deeply into your individual physiology. I love putting the pieces of the puzzle together and turning complex health information into practical strategies that actually fit into your life.

Sarah's clinical expertise lies in supporting digestive health and inflammatory bowel conditions, women’s and men’s hormone health, skin conditions including eczema and acne, auto-immunity, all things genitourinary & vaginal health and mental and emotional wellbeing, particularly anxiety and depression.

At the heart of my practice is the belief that healthcare should feel personal. You shouldn’t have to fit into a standard protocol. My role is to understand your story, uncover what may be contributing to your symptoms and work alongside you to create a plan that feels achievable.

The way healthcare should be.

Meet Elizabeth (Libby)

Senior Naturopath (BHSc)

Libby's journey into naturopathy began long before she became a practitioner. While living and working in Edinburgh in the early 2000s, she landed a job at Napier’s herbal dispensary, spending her days pouring herbs and filling prescriptions for practitioners in a busy natural health clinic.

It wasn't until Libby found herself struggling with an UTI that she experienced the power of herbal medicine for herself. Having suffered from recurring UTIs since childhood and always relying on antibiotics, a herbalist at the clinic pulled her aside for a consultation and prepared a personalised herbal formula. Her infection quickly cleared β€” and Libby was sold. Herbal medicine has remained her first port of call ever since.

Libby’s clinical expertise lies in women’s hormone health, perimenopause and PMDD, children’s health, allergies and atopy, and digestive health. She has a particular passion for supporting women with anxiety, helping women understand the connection between their hormones, nervous system and overall health. She also supports patients experiencing chronic fatigue and sleep concerns.

Alongside her clinical practice, Libby has spent many years working as a retail naturopath and is a familiar and trusted face to the Market Organics community in Ipswich. She feels deeply passionate about making natural healthcare for acute ailments accessible and practical, and loves the connection that community-based care provides.

Libby sees patients online via Zoom and in person at our Harrisville clinic location, just 20 minutes from Yamanto, Ipswich.
